Hotels go through wear and tear from accommodating thousands of heads on beds each year. In order to avoid having subpar experiences for our guests, we ensure regularly-scheduled maintenance for fixtures and fittings at all our hotels, thanks to the work of our amazing engineering and housekeeping teams.
From time to time, we also invest in more extensive refurbishments such as the S$80 million overhaul at Pan Pacific Singapore, a S$10 million refurbishment at Pan Pacific Orchard as well as US$10 million injection into Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort back in 2012. Last year, as part of our effort to enhance the guest experience at Pan Pacific Perth, we not only updated the furnishings in our Premier Rooms and suites, the award-winning HASSELL interior designs were also extended to our lobby and business centre that feature clean lines and warm hues reminiscent of the Pacific Rim. The lobby and entire hotel now also offer complimentary WiFi for all guests’ convenience.

Apart from hardware, we also introduced Lobby Ambassadors as a step-up from our concierge service to be our guests’ insider to everything Perth. Lobby Ambassadors such as Ben (pictured below) are able to extend a more personal touch to our guests’ arrival experience by providing recommendations based on their extensive knowledge of the city.
Meet Ben. He’s one of our Lobby Ambassadors and is able to help with any questions you may have, including tips on seeing the best of Perth! A photo posted by Pan Pacific Perth (@panpacificperth) on
We asked Ben what visitors should know about Perth. He says, “A vibrant food and coffee culture paired with Australia’s best weather makes Perth the ideal destination. Take in a panoramic view of the CBD and South Perth from the pristine Kings Park or if you have ample spare time venture south to the Margaret River winery region to savour some of the best locally produced food and wine the state has to offer.”
Not enough time for a wine tour? Guests will also be glad to know that the hotel’s in-house wine list features an excellent selection of vintages from Margaret River region, supporting local wine producers and reducing our carbon footprint at the same time.
