A 16-minute car ride away from Pan Pacific Hanoi, the restaurant also features a stunning selection of Vietnamese spices, both common and rare, as well as decorative photographs of him and his Vietnamese spouse, injecting a personal touch to the space.

Residing in the Old Quarter of Hanoi is a fittingly vintage French colonial shophouse with a beige facade, teal windows and the year, “1928”, on its front. Inside lies Green Tangerine, another well-loved restaurant. Its eclectic menu, created by erstwhile biological engineer Stephane Yvin, spans various cuisines from Vietnamese to Japanese. Although, it is the French treats that impress the most.
