Introducing Kings Park – an iconic destination sitting snug on the high ground above Perth’s scenic Swan River. As rich in history, culture, flora and fauna as it is in breath-taking views, it is no small wonder why Kings Park is regarded as a must visit destination for over 5 million people annually.

Visitors to the park between the 1st and 30th of September this year will be particularly spoiled for scenery, as Kings Park celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Kings Park Festival – Australia’s largest annual wildflower show.

Appropriately sporting the theme of ‘Beauty Rich and Rare’ for 2015, the event will take visitors on a journey through Kings Park’s half-century history, all while showcasing Australia’s natural splendour with multiple outdoor exhibitions.

Along with the blooming Botanic Gardens, there will be ample events and activities taking place throughout the month to keep the whole family entertained. From guided walks and live music to the ‘Fantastic Faraway Festival’ – there is something for everyone at Kings Park this September.
