Perth International Arts Festival

The Perth International Arts Festival is the longest-running event of its kind in Australia, and launches the city’s cultural calendar for 2015. From film to opera and dance, theatre and circus to classical and contemporary music, family fun, visual arts and even the Perth Writers Festival, this event offers up a feast of performances for all ages and tastes. This year’s highlights include Madame Butterfly, London Grammar, Black Diggers, and much more.

Cottesloe Sculpture by the Sea

Perth’s Cottesloe Beach is famed for its tranquil turquoise waters, its historic jetty, and bars with sunset views – and for the 11th year running, one of the world’s biggest free public events, as Sculpture by the Sea returns to the city.
More than 70 renowned local, interstate and international artists will showcase sculptures to inspire, delight and excite against the backdrop of one of Western Australia’s most iconic beaches. Meander through the sculpture park in the evening and watch the magenta sun slink below the horizon.
